Intro
I’d been experimenting with light anal play for a while and had bought some dubiously cheap toys over the years. Therefore I started looking for my first “nice” allrounder plug to explore butt sensations a bit more. Additionally, I wanted something not so small that it’ll keep falling out and also not so big that it’s a “whole process” to put it in every time. I think I finally found what I was looking for!
The Tantus Neo is a beautiful, comfortable toy with a classic butt plug design. With its maximum diameter of 1.4” and non-intimidating length of 4” it’s perfect for beginners to explore new sensations. It comes in black and purple and, as with other Tantus products I own, the material feels luxuriously soft and long-lasting.
My Experience
Using plenty of water-based lube, it smoothly glides in and stays put for whatever you have planned! I really like the low-profile base which seamlessly blends in between the butt-cheeks and makes you (almost) forget it’s there – except for that gentle feeling of fullness.
It’s been my go-to plug for many different occasions, including:
- while having sex
- while masturbating
- as warm-up before pegging sessions
- around the house for a few hours – including right now while I’m writing this post
Compared to cheaper plugs I’ve tried in the past, the Tantus Neo has never hurt or pinched when going in, doesn’t shoot out even when sex thrusting gets rough (hate when that happens!), and comes out smoothly when it’s time for the fun to end.
Pro-tip: Try holding a vibrator, such as the Magic Wand, against the base of the plug. It feels… amazing.
Longevity and Repeat Use
The Neo is made from Tantus’ 100% ultra-premium silicone and is super easy to take care of. A bit of mild soap and water does the trick. For more thorough cleaning, I occasionally run it through the dishwasher. Absolutely no question that this toy will last a very long time.
Even though the Neo is on the smaller end, I see a permanent, long-term place for the Neo in my collection. It’s great for warm-up, big enough to be an “occasion” by itself, but small enough that it isn’t a hassle getting it in.
Verdict
One of the best butt toys I own. I highly recommend it for both beginners (take it slow!) and more intermediate “butt players” alike.
